Yawar Hussain

Currently, Dr. Hussain is holding a Post-Doctoral Research Scientist position in GEORISK & ENVIRONMENT group at University of Liege. Where, he is working on two projects, site selection for the installation of Einstein Telescope and geophysical characterization of earthquake triggered landslide at Haiti. Previously, Dr. Hussain has worked on the next generation of high resolution borehole strainmeters and evaluating their performance in field applications that include hydrocarbon reservoir management, hydromechanical well testing, hydrologic monitoring, characterizing strain due to tectonics or glacier transport, and evaluating geologic hazards.
